An "I insist" is one demand you're allowed to make each year. This year, Matt and I used both of ours on something for the house! Matt insisted on getting a couch for his man cave. He found a sweet deal on Craigslist but getting it home wasn't as wonderful. We had to stop at Home Depot on the way home to get bungees and tie it down.
With a little help from friends, we squeezed this massive sectional down into the basement. Matt is really looking forward to decorating and furnishing the rest of the room! Our plan is to hang sports memorabilia, bring down a pool or ping pong table and build a wet bar!

insisted on a new kitchen table! I've been searching for the perfect counter-height table to two years now. Our new chandelier matches it perfectly, too!
It has a butterfly leaf in the center to make it bigger and smaller. I like keeping it big so I can spread my school work out! Dinner parties at this table will be great, too! Can't wait to start having people over! : )
